Event Coordinator & Producer | UN-NAMED TATE AND JONAH CHIVILO CALIFORNIA TOUR (2016)

Self-Organized, Funded, and Hosted Tour

In 2016, I conceptualized, coordinated, and executed the Un-Named Tate and Jonah Chivilo California Tour, a one-of-a-kind music and influencer tour featuring Canadian YouTuber and musician Jonah Chivilo. This was the first-ever music event held at Gunther’s Ice Cream in Sacramento, California, marking a milestone in the venue’s 100+ years of history. The tour was centered on creating unique fan engagement experiences while promoting Jonah’s musical career and my own artistic vision.



Key Responsibilities & Achievements:

  • Event Coordination & Production: Orchestrated the entire tour, from concept to execution, across multiple cities in California, ensuring smooth event flows, sound production, and artist coordination.

  • Venue Selection & Partnership: Secured Gunther’s Ice Cream, a Sacramento landmark, as a primary tour stop, creating a memorable and historic event that attracted hundreds of local fans.

  • Artist Management: Worked closely with Jonah Chivilo, coordinating his travel logistics, appearance schedule, and overall tour participation to ensure smooth performance and fan interactions.

  • Fan Engagement & Experience: The event featured a meet-and-greet with Jonah and myself, creating opportunities for fans to take photos and engage directly. VIP ticketing was also available for exclusive access, including special merchandise.

  • Marketing & Promotion: Led a full-scale social media marketing campaign, which included local promotions, influencer partnerships, and targeted ads, helping the event gain significant traction and ensuring a successful turnout.

  • Merchandise Production: Took the initiative to design and produce custom merchandise in my garage, offering exclusive items for sale to attendees. This created a strong sense of community and gave fans tangible memorabilia.

  • Free Event with Paid Upgrades: The tour included a free entry to meet Jonah, with VIP ticket options that provided additional perks, including meet-and-greet access and exclusive merchandise.

  • Local Media Coverage: Secured press and media coverage, including local outlets and social media influencers, to boost event visibility and create long-lasting hype around the tour.


Notable Impact:

  • Historic Event at Gunther’s: This tour marked the largest music event hosted at Gunther’s Ice Cream in over 100 years, making it a culturally significant moment in Sacramento’s local event scene.

  • Engaging Content: Created high-quality video and photo content for the tour, which helped grow my online presence and served as promotional material for future events.

  • Successful Merchandise Sales: Sold over 200 pieces of self-produced merchandise, demonstrating the high level of engagement and demand from fans.


The Un-Named Tate and Jonah Chivilo California Tour was a huge success, allowing me to refine my skills in event planning, artist management, and brand-building, while simultaneously creating a lasting experience for attendees.
